How much does Kairo cost and how does the free trial work?
The "Kairo Unlimited" subscription costs $3.99 per week or $44.99 per year in the US, £3.99 or £44.99 in the UK, and €3.99 or €49.99 in Germany (as of 21 September 2026). Only the yearly plan has a 3-day free trial; the weekly plan bills immediately. Prices vary by country. The App Store shows the final price before you buy.

Which plans are there and what do they cost?
There is one subscription, "Kairo Unlimited", with two billing periods. Verified in App Store Connect on 21 September 2026:
Weekly plan: $3.99 in the United States, £3.99 in the United Kingdom, €3.99 in Germany. No trial; the first week is billed immediately.
Yearly plan: $44.99 in the United States, £44.99 in the United Kingdom, €49.99 in Germany. Includes a 3-day free trial.
Other countries have other prices. The price that counts is always the one the App Store shows you before purchase. There is no second premium tier and no advertising. Prices for more countries are on the pricing page.
How does the 3-day free trial work?
The trial belongs to the regular yearly plan. During the three days all features are available without restriction. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and Apple charges the yearly price.
Discounted offers, such as a reduced-price yearly plan, can start immediately without a trial. Whether a trial is included is shown by the App Store before purchase.
How does billing and renewal work?
Purchase and billing run entirely through the Apple App Store and your Apple account. Apple processes the payment details; Kairo never receives them. Subscriptions renew automatically unless they are cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Where do I see my subscription status?
In the app, in your profile under "App Settings", in the "Subscription" section. Next to "Kairo Unlimited" it shows whether your subscription is active or how many trial days are left. Tapping the row opens Apple's subscription management.
Can I try Kairo without subscribing?
Yes. Every account has three AI analyses without a subscription, and barcode lookups are unlimited. Details: Scans without a subscription.
