How do I cancel my Kairo subscription and how do I get a refund?

Yes. Open your profile in Kairo, then "App Settings", and tap "Kairo Unlimited" in the "Subscription" section. This opens Apple's subscription management, where you can cancel.

If you get stuck, email support@kairocalories.com and we will help you with the cancellation. The cancellation itself has to happen with Apple, because the contract runs through your Apple account.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. There are no pro-rata refunds for periods that are already paid and partly used. Apple renews subscriptions automatically unless they are cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, so cancel in good time before the renewal date.

Your data stays in your account after you cancel. It is only deleted when you delete your account.

Open reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, select the Kairo purchase and request the refund. You can also do this through your Apple account. Apple collects the payment, Apple reviews the request, and Apple pays the money back if it is approved. Apple's refund policies apply.

When you request a refund, Apple may ask us for a small amount of information about the purchase in order to review the request. What that is, is listed in the privacy policy under "Apple – Refund review".

You take out paid subscriptions through the Apple App Store; to that extent the purchase contract is with Apple, so withdrawal and refunds follow Apple's policies. The full withdrawal notice is in the terms of service.

No. Deleting the app from your iPhone does not end a subscription. And if you delete your Kairo account, an existing subscription stays active until the end of the billing period and has to be cancelled with Apple. So cancel the subscription first, then delete the account.
